This page explains what Safari Boyz collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email, phone, country, travel plans and message, when you send the enquiry form or message us.
- Bookings: traveller names, contact details and the trip booked. Card and mobile payments are handled by Pesapal; we do not store card numbers.
- Usage: pages viewed, links clicked, device type, approximate country and the site that referred you, linked to a random session number rather than to your name. You can switch this off with “Decline” on the cookie notice.
- DUMA: the answers you give the trip finder, to build your itinerary and to help us improve it.
Why we use it
To answer you, prepare and run your trip, send booking messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and understand which pages help travellers. We do not sell your data.
Who sees it
Our team, and the lodges, camps, drivers and payment and messaging providers needed to deliver your trip, who receive only what they need.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking records are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting duties.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Email hello@safariboyz.com. You may also complain to Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
