Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park
An early morning pick-up from Mombasa and a scenic drive to Tsavo West National Park. Check in to your lodge or camp for lunch, then after some time to relax, head out on your first afternoon game drive through the park's varied landscapes, looking for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and, with luck, lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Tsavo West National Park
An early morning game drive while the wildlife is most active, exploring different areas of Tsavo West for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes and zebras, then back to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. After lunch, an afternoon game drive and, depending on conditions and the day's route, a chance to visit attractions such as Mzima Springs. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
After an early breakfast, check out and head for Tsavo East National Park with a packed lunch for a full day exploring the vast Tsavo ecosystem. Tsavo East is famous for its large herds of red-dust elephants and is good country for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and several antelope species. Lunch at a scenic spot, an afternoon game drive, then on to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Tsavo East to Diani Beach
After breakfast, the transfer from Tsavo East to Diani Beach. Check in to your beach resort for lunch or refreshments, depending on your arrival time, and spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool or on the beach. Dinner and overnight in Diani.
Diani Beach
A relaxing day at Diani Beach: the resort's facilities, a swim in the pool, the white sand, or optional activities. Lunch at the resort and more time at leisure in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Diani.
Diani Beach and a snorkelling trip
After breakfast, transfer to the departure point for your snorkelling excursion and board a boat into the warm Indian Ocean. A scenic ride along the coast stops at snorkelling spots to explore the clear water, colourful marine life and coral; what you see depends on the sea and weather. Back at the resort for lunch and a quiet afternoon by the pool or on the beach, then dinner and overnight.
Diani Beach
Your final full day in Diani. Breakfast at the resort, then a day on the beach, in the water or at the resort, with optional activities available if you want them. Lunch at the resort, an afternoon at leisure, then dinner and overnight.
Diani to Mombasa Airport
After breakfast, check out of the resort. Depending on your flight, there may be some free time at the beach or resort before your driver transfers you to Mombasa Airport (MBA). Platinum guests fly from the coast to Nairobi instead.
